Report on January 23rd Coffeehouse on Haiti

 

 

On October 4 Hurricane Matthew tore through Haiti, causing widespread destruction of buildings,

agriculture, and human lives. And we remember the January 2010 earthquake whose effects are still

felt. Haiti's vulnerability to natural disasters is the result of human policies; LASC sponsored

a Peace Coffeehouse at Canisius, on how Buffalo is working for recovery and policy change in Haiti.
